About The Author

Heather Jones is a born-and-raised New Yorker now soaking up Southern life in Alabama with her husband and their two kids. At eighteen, she joined the Army, where she met her husband and proudly served for six years. After hanging up the uniform, she continued serving as a military spouse for sixteen more—supporting her family through every move, deployment, and new beginning.

Along the way, she studied baking and pastry arts (yes, she’s the one who shows up with the good desserts), opened an Etsy shop, and discovered her love for building something of her own. Her journey from soldier to stay-at-home mom to entrepreneur inspired "More Than Mom", where she shares her story and a practical path to help other women step into entrepreneurship with courage and confidence.
