A Different Approach to Change
What if the thing you’re trying so hard to change isn't actually a lack of willpower?
Maybe you know what you want to change.
You know the habit you want to break.
The fear you want to move past.
The confidence you want to build.
The thing you keep putting off.
And yet, somehow, you keep finding yourself back in the same patterns.
I understand that feeling.
My own journey through self-doubt, major life changes, and learning to trust myself eventually led me to the work I do today.
As a Certified Consulting Hypnotist and Certified Life & Somatic Coach, I help women create meaningful change by working with the patterns behind what they’re experiencing, not just trying to force a different behavior.
And that’s a big part of why I love this work.
Because sometimes, you don’t need another strategy.
You need a different way to approach the change.

My Story
I can still hear the gravel crunching under my boots, the weight of my rucksack pressing into my shoulders as I stood in formation, heart pounding.
We were only a few weeks into basic training, and I was still figuring out where I fit in. The goal was simple: blend in. Do my part. Don’t stand out too much.
Then, out of nowhere, my drill sergeant called my name. “March the platoon back.”
I froze.
Forty soldiers, all waiting. All looking at me.
I had no idea what I was doing. I wasn’t a leader. I had never seen myself as one. I had two left feet, an intense fear of public speaking, and no business being up front. But in the military, hesitation isn’t an option. You don’t get to raise your hand and say, “Actually, Drill Sergeant, I’d rather not.”
So I did it. And I learned something that would follow me for years: I could do things even when I was scared. In fact, I got really good at it.
When something scared me, I pushed through it. When I didn’t feel confident, I faked it. When my body was screaming, “Nope,” I learned to keep going anyway.
I’d been taught, in one way or another, that this was what strength looked like.
Fake it till you make it. Do it scared. Keep pushing. Eventually, it will get easier. And sometimes, it does. But that wasn’t the whole story for me.
I could make myself do the thing. I could push through the fear. I could accomplish what was expected of me. What I hadn’t learned was how to regulate what was happening underneath it all.
My body could be in fight, flight, or freeze, and I would simply push harder. Again and again, I activated that stress response without really knowing how to come back down from it. Eventually, I started to notice what that looked like in everyday life. I was short-tempered with the people I loved. I had trouble sleeping. I felt like I was constantly on alert, even when nothing was actually wrong.
I thought I just needed to try harder.
It wasn’t until I went through my own coaching certification that I began doing the deeper inner work. I started paying attention to what was happening beneath my thoughts, emotions, and behaviors instead of simply trying to force myself through them.
And that’s where things began to change.
I learned that lasting change isn’t always about trying harder. Sometimes, you have to work with what’s happening underneath the behavior.
That realization eventually led me to hypnotherapy.
Because the thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and automatic patterns underneath what we do matter. And sometimes, changing what happens on the outside starts with changing what is happening underneath.
That’s the work I get to do with women now.
You don’t have to spend your life pushing through yourself.
Certifications and Qualifications
You deserve to know who’s guiding you through this work.
My training combines hypnotherapy, life coaching, and somatic techniques, giving me multiple ways to support you as you work toward meaningful change.
Hypnosis
I’m a Certified Consulting Hypnotist through the National Guild of Hypnotists, one of the oldest and largest professional organizations for hypnosis practitioners.
Hypnotherapy is the primary service I offer, helping women work with the subconscious patterns connected to habits, fears, confidence, beliefs, and other personal goals.
My role is to guide you through the process in a way that is personalized to what you want to change.
Life Coaching Certification
I’m also a Certified Life & Somatic Coach through the Courageous Living Coach Certification program, an ICF-accredited training program.
This training supports the coaching skills I bring into my hypnotherapy work, including active listening, powerful questioning, creating awareness, and helping clients connect their goals with practical action.
Somatic Coaching Certification
My training in somatic coaching allows me to incorporate body-based techniques when appropriate.
Somatic work recognizes that change isn’t only about what you think. Your body can also play a role in how you experience stress, habits, emotions, and familiar patterns.
When appropriate, I may incorporate simple somatic practices to help you notice what is happening in your body and build greater awareness as you work toward change.
Additional Training
I’ve also completed training as an Imposter Syndrome First Aider, expanding my understanding of the self-doubt, perfectionism, and internal patterns that can make it difficult to recognize and trust your own capabilities.
